Gil Scott-Heron: Comment #1 (Who WIll Survive in America)

I remember my cousin trying to put me on to Gil Scott Heron. I listened to the CD a couple times but never really listened. I was in high school and even though those were my highly politically involved and conscious days, I was probably too young to understand what Gil was talking about. Fast forward to 2010. I'm listening to a spoken word piece at the end of Kanye's new album and my mother says "That sounds like Gil Scott." So I investigated and found out it actually was him. The piece was taken from his piece entitled Comment #1. The entire piece is not on Kanye's CD but if it were it might have seriously overshadowed it.
